Greetings and Salutations!

Greetings fellow servants of the immortal God-Emperor,

I do not yet know the customs of this group, but I will assume they are similar to past browser game alliances and thus new members are preferred to introduce themselves. If this is not the case, feel free to ignore this topic :-)

I am KanzlerAndreas (that is also my user name in Uni. 42). I am a veteran of Ogame, having played in days gone by, most notably in Uni 12, where I founded and ran The Holy Imperium alliance with about a dozen friends, plus other people that joined. The times have changed greatly since those olden days, especially the layout of everything in Ogame!

It is typically courteous to provide some basic biographical info. in my experience, so I'll do that, too. I am a university student (6th semester) of Germanistik (i.e. I study the German language and culture and I am more or less fluent) and Political Science. Though I am American and my home uni is in the States, I am currently in central Germany on a study abroad semester. I love history (especially German, or European in general), politics and government (I also write a political blog that has received the attention of a news website back home), and science fiction, including, of course, Warhammer and 40k both.

Lastly, speaking of Warhammer, I admit I no longer play either game, as they are too expensive and I am but a poor uni student. In the olden days, I played Guard and Space Wolves, as well as Dark Elves and Bretonnia, though nowadays I stick to Dawn of War and occasionally writing fan fiction, when I am not suffering writer's block. So you can see why I chose this alliance :-)
